Our home base is an educational community and school that runs year round: here we are adventuring together!
The Sovereignty School For Love has been running since 2014.. some of our oldest kiddos have gone on to attend different schools that accommodate a full-time schedule. Our older kiddos are now "satellite kiddos" coming back to attend SS4LOVE classes during holidays and the summertime. It's wonderful to be a part of each child's life beyond their time regularly attending classes here. Our school intends to be a learning partner with all families, weaving in to their specific family plan for their child's educational journey; we want to be a part of your child's educational journey in whatever form that looks like. If you attend a school already and are interested in supplementing your child's education in some way, we can supplement your child's education with special classes focused your child's or family's passions and priorities. "Satellite kiddos" often return in a leadership role and with a sense of confidence that they express through playing with and teaching the younger kiddos when they visit the classroom.
Our School Community
Our school is more than a place to learn, it is a community of families and individuals. We get together outside of the classroom often. We run into each other at coffee shops, live music shows, and farmers markets. We invite grand parents and family friends to come to the classroom and to our get togethers. We support each others businesses around town and consult each other with life choices because all of our families are learning how to navigate family life and it feels better together.
Sovereignty School Gatherings
We celebrate birthdays together and have spontaneous gatherings to share food, wear costumes, and play in a big group. We appreciate the change of seasons together, we have summer and winter solstice, spring and autumn equinox school parties. This is also an opportunity for our parents to remember that they are a part of this school community, not just their children, and to invite friends and families to share the love that their children feel every day in class.
